COURSE CONTENT
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify WHS legislative requirements
- Identify construction hazards and control measures
- Identify WHS communication and reporting processes
- Identify WHS incident and emergency response procedures
The NSW Construction White Card also known as General Induction for Construction is a nationally recognised course compulsory for all workers carrying out construction work. The course is SafeWork NSW Approved.
If you are completing this course via Zoom you must have a PC/Laptop or Mobile device that will allow you to attend the training using camera, speaker and mic. You are also required to have Personal Protective Equipment on the day. Please read below for more details. For those attending class room training all PPE will be supplied by Advance OHS.

You must fulfil the 100 points identification requirements prior to attending this course. For information on the Identification requirements please refer to the Evidence of Identity Form. Please complete the Evidence of Identity Form prior to the course. If you’re unable to print the form, a copy will be provided to you on the day.

As a requirement to to complete the course remotely via Zoom. You must have a reliable internet connection, PC/Laptop or Mobile device with working camera, speaker and mic.

The above PPE can be supplied for an additional $50 including postage cost (within Sydney Metro, additional cost may apply for regional areas)
As your are undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. If you don’t have a USI you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment. Please apply for your USI prior to attending the course here.
You are expected to be able to recognise numbers, verbally communicate basic safety information and follow basic safety information in English. If your require assistance please contact our staff prior to enrolment. Following enrolment you will be provided with a simple language assessment to determine if this course is appropriate to your language and literacy level.
