Employers with a base tariff premium of more than $50,000, or employers who are self-insured, or insured with a specialised insurer and have over 20 employees, SIRA has updated the RTW Coordinator training module ‘Tailoring a Return to Work Program’ to better align with the Guidelines for Workplace Return to Work Programs.

This update is to help employers understand specific requirements that are covered in their RTW Program. We encourage all RTW Coordinators/Managers to re-visit the revised module and review their RTW Program.

SIRA has identified a growing number of employers who do not have a compliant RTW Program that meets the Guidelines for Workplace Return to Work Programs.
