Confined Space Refresher Training
This confined space course is designed for people who have previously completed a full 3 day “Standby Person” course. Standby person duties involves observation, continuous communication, gas monitoring of the confined space if required initiate the first aid / rescue plan. The refresher course covers those competencies attained previously thereby ensuring the participants previously gained competencies remain current.

COURSE CONTENT
- WHS Legislation, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice.
- Risk management.
- Safety equipment and rescue.
- Working in accordance with confined space permits /documentation and procedures.
- Atmospheric evaluation.
- Isolation.
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Self Containing Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive Statement of Training.
Assessment:Â End of course written and practical assessments.
